Robert (Bob) Manning is a British musician and joint founding member of post-rock band Cold, cold heart.

In 2011, Robert started "Music for MRI" to raise money and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis. The collaborative project involved a number of alternative artists releasing covers of "Washington Parks", a song Robert had written for his wife.

Over a three-year period the track was covered by Ash, We Are Scientists, Emmy the Great and Tim Wheeler, Marissa Nadler, Ed Harcourt and Oliver Wilde. In total Washington Parks raised £12,000 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

It was said during an interview that Cold, cold heart formed after Bob's longtime friend Chris Daniel covered "Washington Parks". To date this version has not been released.
