This is a list of official recordings released by Scottish electronic music duo Boards of Canada under that name and, rarely, as Hell Interface.

Boards of Canada have released 12 studio albums and EPs on cassette, vinyl, and CD through the Music70, Warp Records, Skam Records, and V/Vm Test Records labels. Several early albums were issued in very small numbers.

  • "Untitled", used on a commercial for Telecom Italia, directed by Chris Cunningham, who is also well known for his video work with Aphex Twin. This piece is not commercially available but a portion of this track seems to be sampled on "A is to B as B is to C" from the Geogaddi album. The commercial features movie star Leonardo DiCaprio.
  • "Kid for Today" (from In a Beautiful Place..) was used on a European BMW automobile ad featuring the 7-Series luxury sedan.
  • "Constants are Changing" (from The Campfire Headphase) was used on a commercial bump for Adult Swim.

  • "Everything You Do Is a Balloon", in Morvern Callar, 2002 film by Lynne Ramsay
  • "Gyroscope", in the Italian movie The Consequences of Love (Le conseguenze dell'amore), directed by Paolo Sorrentino.
  • "Gyroscope" was used in the horror movie Sinister (2012), both during the movie and during end credits.
  • "Everything You Do Is a Balloon" was used in the short film Waking Up by Ross Robertson.

  • "Happy Cycling [*]", on Six Feet Under: Episode 25 - "I'll Take You" (Home Box Office), 2001
  • "Music Is Math", featured on Nathan Barley and the trailer for Pi, among others.
  • "Turquoise Hexagon Sun", used on several episodes of Monkey Dust.
  • "Sunshine Recorder", used on the show Top Gear during the Toyota Pickup toughness test.
  • "Beware the Friendly Stranger", from Geogaddi, used in Salad Fingers.
  • "Rue the Whirl", used on an episode of Spaced.
  • "Dayvan Cowboy", used on an MTV promo for Fast Inc., the CBS series CSI: Miami episode # 502 and on Kyle XY Season 2, Episode 6.
  • "An Eagle in Your Mind", used on several episodes of the BBC3 martial arts series Mind, Body and Kick Ass Moves.
  • Portions of "Pete Standing Alone" were looped in various German television vignettes for the 2006 World Cup with a fan doing the "Deutschland Dance".
  • "Turquoise Hexagon Sun" has featured on various episode of British teen drama Hollyoaks.
  • "Turquoise Hexagon Sun" is used in an episode of The Real Hustle.
  • "Hey Saturday Sun" and "Chromakey Dreamcoat" used by Cartoon Network as background music during their schedule of upcoming shows.
  • "Julie and Candy", used briefly in an episode of Top Gear.
  • "Roygbiv" and others are used as part of the background music in Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe.
