She first made her appearance on screen as Anelie, the indecisive love interest to David Dineen-Porter's character in Pavan Moondi's feature comedy Everyday is like Sunday in 2013. She has subsequently appeared in his films Diamond Tongues starring Leah Fay Goldstein of the band July Talk, and in Sundowners, starring Tim Heidecker.

Bo Martyn was born in Swinoujscie, a city and seaport on the Baltic Sea and Szczecin Lagoon, located in the extreme north-west of Poland. She moved to Canada with her family at the age of three. She attended bilingual French and English speaking schools before dropping out in the 10th grade due to severe bullying.

At 20 years old, Martyn graduated from Humber College's general arts and science program with an associate degree. She was accepted into York University where she majored in psychology and worked simultaneously as a flight attendant for Porter Airlines. She left after a few years to pursue her dreams of acting.
