Blue Edge is a new form of helicopter rotor blade developed by Eurocopter and unveiled at the Heli-Expo in Houston, Texas. The company claims that tests they have carried out show the blade reduces the noise produced by a helicopter by three to four decibels. Eurocopter refers to the blades as part of their new range of "Bluecopter" technology.
