The song became a big commercial and chart success. In the United States, it topped the Hot Country Songs chart for twelve straight weeks and also reached number 24 on the Hot 100. It also reached number one on the Country Airplay chart.

The song is nominated for two Grammy Awards at the 59th Grammy Awards – Best Country Solo Performance for Urban and Best Country Song for its songwriters.
