Fictional character biography

Blind Justice went to Francesi's flower store to stop him, knowing that Francesi was a criminal running illegal operations in the neighborhood. He used his stun gun to incapacitate some of Francesi's men, but Hawkeye and Mockingbird arrived and tried to stop him, but he escaped. Outside he threatened to kill Francesi, who offered to buy his own life, but Blind Justice wanted only justice. Hawkeye came to the man's rescue, but Francesi suffered a heart attack and Blind Justice fled. Hawkeye took Francesi to a hospital, but he died there, and Blind Justice sent a card saying "In the service of Justice."

Later, the criminal Speedo set up Blind Justice and Hawkeye at the docks to eliminate them. The Shroud arrived to help Hawkeye, and Blind Justice captured Speedo and his second-in-command Zipper. He told Speedo that he would be executed for trying to kill an Avenger. Speedo shot Blind Justice, who fell down in the water, but not before he shot Speedo. Hawkeye and the Shroud believed he died, but as they left Blind Justice's hand was reaching for a ladder.

After the superhero Civil War, Tony Stark considered Blind Justice as a potential Initiative recruit.
