Blastobasis maroccanella is a moth in the family Blastobasidae. It is found on the Azores, Madeira and in Portugal, Spain and Morocco. It was recently reported from California in the United States.
Adults are variable in size and colour, the forewings with a peppered appearance of dark brownish grey over a paler ground colour and with a dark transverse band near middle and two short dark transverse streaks in the distal third, one near costa and one chevron-like near termen. Adults are on wing year round.
The larvae have been reported feeding on a wide range of host materials, including cultivated grapes and peas and decaying wood.
