Blank Canvas are an alternative indie band from Edinburgh, Scotland. While the band themselves describe their music as "ambient punk" or "prog punk", others have compared them to the likes of Deerhunter and TV on the Radio.

The band first came to attention in early 2010 with their EP 'Veins' gaining acclaim and national radio play. Since, they have supported bands like Little Comets, Housse de Racket and Pete and the Pirates. Their double single 'By the Fire / Golden' earned them further acclaim and support slots with Friends Electric and The Twilight Sad as well as a headline slot on the T break stage at T in the Park 2012.
In 2014 they launched a 4 track EP entitled Your Sin.
