Akinseye Festus Akin-Oyewole (born 23 March 1985), known as Blaccode, is a is a Nigerian hip hop recording artist from Ile-Oluji, Ondo State. He records mostly in English and Yoruba, his native tongue. In 2011 recorded his first single in title "Sebi Elei" under NTG, his current record label .

Early life

Blaccode was born Akinseye Akin-Oyewole in Ondo State, Nigeria. He hails from Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo local government area. He graduated from Federal University of Technology, Akure, in 2010, with a degree in Industrial Design (Graphics). While in University, he decided to pursue music as a career alongside his studies.

Music career

Blaccode showed an interest in music from an early age, and was encouraged by his parents. He started his music career professionally 2011 after his tertiary education, fortunately he attended same school with Style-Plus and wished to join the group but unfortunately they left year he gained his admission. He later founded and joined several other music groups like Ariezone Plus and Da Vibes and recorded some songs with Fresco among other artiste before leaving University. He co-founded NTG record label and he is currently the only one signed to the label. He released his first official single "Sebi Elei" which was produced by KingD in 2011, along with an animated music video that was created by WixaBrand now Cre8ive Galleria.

Blaccode released his second single "Fire Dancer", produced by KingD on September 11, 2015 which is currently circulating the internet.

Personal life

Blaccode has listed acts like D'Banj, Danfo Drivers, Zulezu, Oritse Femi, 2face Idibia, 9ice, W4, Wande Coal, Owl City Dagrin, and Ed Sheeran as musical influences. Blaccode has been greatly supported and motivated by his parents.
