Background
It is located along European route E06 and the Nordland Line, about 20 kilometres (12 mi) southeast of Hemnesberget and about 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) north of the municipal center of Korgen. The 0.82-square-kilometre (200-acre) village has a population (2013) of 476. The population density is 580 inhabitants per square kilometre (1,500/sq mi).
