Tagline Bio-In. Probiotics Just Got Smart |
Bio-In is a synbiotic program produced by DEM4 Laboratory, an international laboratory focused on health and well-being innovation. Bio-In is a functional body microflora rehabilitation program which lasts for 120 days and consists of 11 synbiotic products sourced from 14 probiotic strains. The probiotics in each products are combined with prebiotics to achieve a synergistic effect. The composition of strains and additional elements in each product is adjusted to achieve certain physiological effects. Two of the stages in each program are functional synbiotic products which contain probiotic strains that have been designed to address specific health issues such as oral health and bone care.

History
Bio-In was created in collaboration with scientists from the USA, France, Denmark, Lithuania and Austria. Development started in early 2013 and the program was first launched in April 2015.
Production
A patented cryoprotectant technology is used to freeze-dry the probiotic cultures and microencapsulate them for maximal survival rates in the stomach and duodenum. The probiotics come as a powder in sachets rather than in capsules, as research has shown that capsules reduce the survival rate of probiotics cultures.
Ingredients
Each product has a unique composition of bacteria, prebiotics, vegetable extracts, vitamins and minerals. These products contain bacteria from 4 generas: Lactobacillus, Lactococcus, Bifidumbacteria, Streptococci. The active prebiotic used in the programme is FOS Fructooligosaccharide. The ‘cobiotic’ vitamins, minerals and enzymes used are designed to assist the digestion of food and stimulate the growth of probiotic cultures.
Partners
The Bio-In program comes with an individual diet plan created by Dr. Allison Gandre, a world expert in Nutrient Therapy. DEM4 Laboratory developed Bio-In in collaboration with Biocare Copenhagen. Biofarma developed and produced the secure sealed packaging used in the Bio-In program.
