Bing Steel LLC, was a Detroit, Michigan, United States supplier of carbon steel flat rolled products to the automotive industry.

Background

Bing Steel was founded by retired NBA Player Dave Bing in the Detroit area. At the 1990 NBA All-Star Game, he received the Schick Achievement Award for his work after his NBA career. Bing Steel Processing facility is capable of processing 250,000 tons or more of flat-rolled steel per year. The Bing assembly process feature's a robotic, multi and single point welder, part-to-part weld assembler, heat bonding, riveting and part washing. Company assets were sold off in 2009.
