William "Billy" Wilson was a New Zealand professional rugby league footballer of the 1910s and 1920s , playing at representative level for New Zealand (#103), and Wellington, as a Wing, or Loose forward/Lock, i.e. number 2 or 5, or, 13, during the era of conested scrums.

Playing career

Billy Wilson played Loose forward/Lock in Wellington's 33-18 victory over Auckland during the 1913 New Zealand rugby league season Inter-district competition on Saturday 27 September 1913, this would be Wellington's last victory against Auckland until 1988.

International honours

Billy Wilson represented New Zealand in 1914 against Great Britain, in 1919 against Australia (2 matches), and in 1921 against Australia.
