William "Billy" H./J. Davies was a Welsh rugby union and professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1930s, playing club level rugby union (RU) for Llanelli RFC, and playing representative level rugby league (RL) for Great Britain, and at club level for Castleford, and Featherstone Rovers (Heritage № 153) as a stand-off/five-eighth, i.e. number 6.

Billy Davies played stand-off/five-eighth in Castleford's 11–8 victory over Huddersfield in the 1935 Challenge Cup Final during the 1934–35 season at Wembley Stadium, London on Saturday 4 May 1935, in front of a crowd of 39,000.
