William Murray-Wood (30 June 1917 – 21 December 1968), known as Bill Murray-Wood, was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Oxford University and Kent County Cricket Club. He was Kent's captain for two years from 1952, leaving in controversial circumstances. He was born at Dartford, Kent.

Murray-Wood was primarily a batsman and scored 106 not out on his first-class debut for Oxford in 1936 against Gloucestershire. He made his Kent debut the same season and played occasionally until he was appointed captain of the Kent side in 1952.

His Kent career came to an abrupt end in 1953,when the Kent committee announced that he was being replaced as captain by Doug Wright during Canterbury Cricket Week. He refuted this statement until the annual meeting the following February, when it was made clear the amateur players "would not continue under Murray-Wood's leadership".

He served with the Special Operations Executive during World War II. He died in Southwark, London in 1968, aged 51.
