William "Bill" Burgess (birth registered January→March 1939 (age 77–78)) birth registered in Barrow-in-Furness district, is an English rugby union and professional rugby league footballer of the 1960s, and 1970s, playing representative level rugby union (RU) for Lancashire, and at club level for Furness RUFC[2], and Fylde, and playing representative level rugby league (RL) for Great Britain, England, and Lancashire, and at club level for Barrow, and Salford, as a Wing, i.e. number 2 or 5.
