History
Bilashati Tamiz Uddin High School was established in 1973. This school was named after according to the name of Tamiz Uddin who was the donor of the land to start school compound. The founding headmaster was Sadiruzzaman Khan. As this school was established long time ago, there are prominent alumni from this school.
Campus
The campus is about 13 kilometers away from the phulpur upazila. The total area of the campus is 2 acres. There are two academic buildings on the campus. There is a grand play ground in the campus. The campus is surrounded by the various types of tree. There is also a pond in a corner of campus.
There is a furnished school library in this school. Students can take books easily from the library.
Curriculum
The school follows National Curriculum Text Books (NCTB).
Academic performance of the school in JSC and SSC examination is always gracious. Moreover, every year students gets scholarships on academic performance.
The uniform color of this school are sky color shirt, navy blue pant for boys and liver-color salwar white color slack for girls.
Administration
The school is administered by the strong administrative unit called managing committee. The committee member is elected by the Guardians for two years which is headed by the president of this committee.
Co-curricular and extra-curricular activities
The school arranges many cultural program in every year like annual sports, drama, international mother language day, victory day, independence day, Pahela Baishakh etc. No School magazine is published yet.
Sports
The school provides several types of sporting activity such as cricket, football, carom chase, ludo etc. Both boys and girls participate in these sports. Moreover, this school take part in inter school competition.
