Early life

Gurley was born on May 19, 1993 in Olathe, Kansas. He was inspired by the movie Jackass when he was 11 and started filming videos after receiving a video camera as a Christmas gift from his parents. After a while he moved out to Arizona with his friends and attended Mesa Community College.

Gurley dropped out of college about one year after graduating from high school and started filming videos full time.
YouTube

Gurley has collaborated with other notable YouTubers such as Andrew Hales, Cody Strong, Juan Gonzalez, JStuStudios, DJ Sennett, and Melissa Flentzeris.
"Giving to People Who Give"
Gurley released a video on August 19, 2014 titled "Giving to People Who Give" which was filmed in Tempe, Arizona where he pretended to be a homeless panhandler, and whoever gave him money he returned their money plus extra cash, at the end he met Charna Foley, a homeless women who has been filling job applications for three months with no luck where Gurley donated her some money and made her break down in tears. Gurley helped Foley with raising donations.
Gurley has made other "give back" videos such as "Giving Away Jordans" and "New Bikes for the Homeless".
"You want beef?"
Gurley went to the hood with ground beef duct taped inside his shirt and asked people if they wanted beef, a dangerous question to inquire as the phrase normally indicates intentions to begin a fight. Others believed he was serious in starting one, but Gurley instead lifted his shirt to reveal actual ground beef. The video was released on 2014 May 26.
Klay Thompson Look-alike
Gurley was a star basketball player for Olathe East High School. He has been told that he looks like Klay Thompson. This inspired him to film a video in which he has his facial hair shaved into a goatee like Klay Thompson's and goes around playing basketball and pranking people on the campus of Arizona State University, all while imitating Klay Thompson, the video was released on June 4, 2015.
"Dropping $100,000 prank!!"
On January 30, 2017, Gurley released a video where he wears a suit, carrying a briefcase full of money which was actually fake money, he approaches random people and asking them questions and suddenly dropping the money while talking to the person to see if their behavior changes when they see the money, the video was meant to be funny and was not for testing people out, this video went viral.
