Big Vin Records is an American record label based in Arlington, Texas. The company was formed in February 2006 by former Pantera and Damageplan–and current Hellyeah–drummer, Vinnie Paul Abbott, and has a distribution deal with Fontana Records, which in turn is owned by Universal Music Group. Abbott started the label a year after the on-stage murder of his brother, Dimebag Darrell, on December 8, 2004.

Contents

Seventh Void, the Hillbilly Orchestra, Fountainhead, and Mark "The Chinaman" Britten are among the artists signed to the label.

Albums

  • Rebel Meets Rebel by David Allan Coe and Cowboys from Hell (2006)
  • Heaven Is Gone by Seventh Void (2009) Underkill by Fountainhead (2015)
  • DVDs

  • Dimevision, Volume 1 (2006)
  • Future Releases

Abbott has stated that he plans to preserve his brothers legacy and continue to release his recorded material. DimeVision Vol. 2 along with an official photo book for Dimebag is set to be released sometime in 2008 (any update here?). The book is being put together by Vinnie and their father, Jerry Abbott. It's unclear if the book will be released under Big Vin Records with a distribution deal from a book publisher or if it's to be released through a publisher alone.

Vinnie is currently working on a DVD/CD with comedian, The Chinaman. It was set to be released late 2007 but was postponed due to the death of the Chinaman's parents. A new release date has yet to be confirmed.
