Big Ten Conference volleyball

Big Ten volleyball represents the 14 women's teams that participate in the conference. Through 2015, Big Ten volleyball has earned a combined 26 NCAA final four appearances by 8 different teams. In 1987, Illinois became the first program to represent the Big Ten in the final four. In 1999 Penn State won the conference's first NCAA national championship, and they have won 7 overall, including four consecutive titles from 2007-2010, an NCAA record. Minnesota, and Illinois have both been runners-up, one time each and Wisconsin has been runner-up twice.

In 2011, former Big 12 member Nebraska joined Big Ten play for the first time and won the regular season Big Ten championship, the first Big Ten title in any sport in school history. Nebraska has won 4 NCAA national championships, 1 of which has come during their time in the Big Ten and 3 of which came during their time in the Big 12.
