Bibeksheel Nepali Dal (विवेकशील नेपाली दल) is a political party of Nepal. Its name literally means "Party of Rational Nepalese". Ujwal Thapa, leader(President) of Bibeksheel Nepali, in 2013, ran as candidate in the second Constitutional Assembly election held on November 19, 2013, as an independent candidate. At that time, the election symbol of the party was Dog (कुकुर). With the four independent candidates in the Kathmandu valley, they received around 3,000 votes, mostly from youths. Right after the second Constitutional Assembly election held on November 19, 2013, they registered Bibeksheel Nepali (विवेकशील नेपाली) as a political party with their own election symbol - smiling face.

Bibeksheel Nepali conducts various types of training workshops to empower youth entrepreneurship. Among them, they have been organizing an interaction session regarding entrepreneurship on every Wednesday in their central office.
The second type of activism they are involving the youths is in social activities. They are conducting cleaning campaigns using their volunteers and members of the parties apart from the citizens to serve the society. A few members of the party are continuously involved in Bagmati River cleaning for the last two years.
Being a political party, they have been organizing a session called "What Next?" (अब के गर्ने?) on a regular basis when the first Constitutional Assembly dissolved. Now, this session is organized in various districts of the nation by her different units and units outside the nation.
History
The party was found to increase the direct participation of youths in Nepali politics and liberate Nepali citizens from corruption, failure of government to provide basic needs to citizens, failed promises and undemocratic practices like strikes and bandh of existing political parties in Nepal.
Ideology
Bibeksheel Nepali Dal stands for freedom and economic prosperity. By being contemporary the party remain focused on the priorities and continually improve in ways of devising and delivering people focused policies. The party try to ensure citizens’ security and state services that ultimately enables citizens to fulfill their civil duties. The party believes in eight pillars for prosperous Nepal viz. Responsible Citizens, Accountable Leadership, Servant Government, Empowered Nepal, United Nepali, Free Nepali, Open and Evolving Nepali & Prosperous Nepal.
About the party
It is a new and rising political party in Nepal, not only built by the youths but also led by them. It is not limited to Nepal, but is in the different parts of the world and have a core team working in Nepal. It believes that the present and the future both belongs to the youth.

Anti-banda Demonstration
On 13 January 2015, the party orgainsed a rally in the Kathmandu Valley protesting against the regular bandas in Nepal. The demonstrators protested against the tradition of forcefully enforcing the strikes to press their demands. The regular bandas in Nepal have badly crippled the normal life of citizens and hit hard on Nepali Economy. Many youth participated carrying national flags and placards reading 'Nepal is open' or 'नेपाल खुल्ला छ'. The banda enforcers tried to scare away their anti-banda activists but the swift action of the police prevented the clash.
Releif Distribution to Quake affected Areas
The Bibeksheel Nepali Dal created a separate unit Bibeksheel Nepali Earthquake Response Task Force (BNERTF), to gather information, collect funds and coordinate relief, and to take care of rehabilitation and reconstruction work. So far the BNERTF has provided relief materials to 6,000 households of 17 quake-affected districts. BNERTF started its relief program from Gorkha on April 27, 2015 and has covered more than 500 affected areas so far. The party's volunteer were accompanied by team of medical voulanteers including 50 doctors. So far, the party has distributed more than 80 tonnes of rice, 60,000 packets of instant noodles, 40,000 packets of biscuits, 18,000 litres of water and 10,000 tents and built more than 5,000 shelters for quake victims.
Black Pinda to the Prime Minister
On 24 April 2016, the anniversary of devastating earthquake of 2015, Bibeksheel Nepali Dal staged the protest against the delay in providing relief to the quake-victims and reconstruction of damaged properties and structures. A group of 20 people staged the protest dressed in black when PM KP Sharma Oli was on the way to attend the function to commemorate the people killed when Dharahara collasped during the quake. Pinda is an offering to the dead. The demonstration was an effort to raise the urgent issue of delayed reconstruction efforts.
Get Well Soon Lokman
On 27 July 2016, the party protested against the chief of CIAA who did not appear at the meeting of Good Governance and Monitoring Committee (GGMC) of the Parliament held at Singha Durbar citing health problems. The GMCC had invited Lokman Karki and the other commissioners to discuss the accusations that the CIAA had interfered in MD & MS entrance examination at Kathmandu University against the principal of academic jurisdiction by holding the examinations on their own. In the letter to the committee he stated that he had a throat infection and doctors had advised him not to speak for a week.
Solidarity rally in support of Dr Govinda KC
On 1 October 2016, Bibeksheel Nepali Dal, member of Solidarity for Dr Govinda KC Alliance,organised peace march with slogan "End Corruption: Support Democracy". The march started from Maitighar and ended at New Baneshwor. Dr KC is on hunger strike to protest the failure of the government to address the four-point agreement signed between him and the government. The four-point agreement included address the previous agreements between him and the government, passage of new medical education bill, impeachment of Lokman Karki, chief of CIAA, and implementation of medical fees proposed by Mathema Commission.
