According to the Imperial Gazetteer of India: Bhalote Shera itself is a place of some antiquity, Bhalote Shera (Bhaloot Shera), Tehsil Kharian, District Gujrat. Situated near DINGA-GUJRAT Road. This is a native village of Lalamusa city. In this village a famous Madrissa is (Al Syeda Fatima Zahram Model School & College) under the supervision of Muhammad Shah and Abbas Shah. The village is not very advance but people of this village are educated and well known in the district.
