Benliw is one of the 44 barangays of the municipality of Ubay, in the province of Bohol, Philippines.

The barangay's total land area is 589 hectares (1,460 acres). According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 2,193. In the 2013 electoral roll, it had 1,330 registered voters, meaning that 61% of the population are aged 18 and over.
Benliw celebrates its annual fiesta every 13 May in honor of their patron saint.
Location
Located on the eastern part of the municipality, Benliw is bounded to the north by Sinandigan, to the south by San Vicente and Cagting, to the west by Imelda, and to the east by Bohol Sea. Benliw is 20 km (12 mi) from the town center, Poblacion.
History
In 1951, Benliw was once a sitio of barangay Biabas. It was given the name Benliw because of the predominant tree growing there at that time. (Similar to Tipolo tree, but distinguished by its fruit.)
Economy
People in the barangay are mostly fishermen who live by fishing, others by fish vending, and trading. Some are farmers who plant rice, corn, coconut, banana, vegetables, coffee, cacao, fruit trees, and root crops. Some have small lots of agricultural land.
Government
There are seven puroks in the barangay overseen by the elected kagawads.
