Career
He was loaned out to VfB Stuttgart II on 26 August 2014 until the end of the 2014–15 season. On 25 October 2014 Uphoff made his debut for Stuttgart II in the 3. Liga against SpVgg Unterhaching. He returned to VfB Stuttgart II after the end of the loan deal and signed a permanent deal on 31 August 2015.
