Benjamin Sotto was born on 22 September 1980, in Les Lilas, Paris, France.
He spent 5 years at a college of music being in a couple of fledgling bands before founding the power metal band Heavenly.
He has cited many musical influences in metal, including: Manowar, Iron Maiden, Gamma Ray, Angra, Helloween, Running Wild, Metallica, Megadeth, Judas Priest, Nightwish, Spın̈al Tap, Iced Earth, and Dio.
