Club career

Henrichs made his Bundesliga debut on 20 September 2015 against Borussia Dortmund. He replaced Karim Bellarabi after 78 minutes in a 3–0 away defeat.
International career

Henrichs was born in Germany to a German father and Ghanaian mother. On 4 November 2016, he was called up to the German national side for the first time by manager Joachim Löw for the nation's World Cup qualifier against San Marino and a friendly match against Italy. He made his debut for Germany in an 8–0 win over San Marino on 11 November 2016.
