Rohrer made his biggest impact in the Twenty20 format of the game, being one of NSW's most consistent batsmen. The highlight of the season was when he came into bat in the final against Victoria at ANZ Stadium with NSW in a difficult position chasing Victoria's score. He hit a rapid 44 off only 20 balls to be named man of the match as NSW took the match and the tournament.
