Early life and education
Hindman attended Vanderbilt University, where he received a bachelor's degree in human and organizational development.
DC By Foot

Shortly after graduating, Hindman and Brody Davis founded DC By Foot, a tour company. Despite criticism from the Washington, D.C., tour-guide establishment, DC By Foot was well-attended by tourists. Hindman operated DC By Foot until 2009, when he sold the company to move to New York City.
The Summit Series

Since leaving DC By Foot, Hindman has worked in event management. He served as a founding member and chief travel officer of the Summit Series (conference), a retreat organization company for young entrepreneurs.
Thrillist
Hindman worked as the national events manager for Thrillist.com. He organized events focused on showcasing local businesses and promoting the Thrillist.com brand. These included a beach party in the Hamptons, a promotional “mystery flight” to Jamaica, and creating Hotel Thrillist in Miami Beach.
Splash
In 2010, Hindman co-founded OneClipboard.com, an online event-management software company. In February 2012, OneClipboard.com introduced Splash, a service that allows users to manage their events by creating a custom webpage. Splash allows users to archive and preserve photos and other media content to serve as a reminder of the event. The company is based in New York City.
Personal life
Hindman has been recognized as a beatboxer. He performed with Naughty By Nature at Vanderbilt University’s Rites of Spring Music Festival in 2007.
