Bematistes poggei is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in Zambia, Angola, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, Sudan, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Ethiopia. The habitat consists of forests and riverine thickets.

The larvae feed on Adenia and Vitis species.
