Belmopan Hospital is a hospital also known as the Western Regional Hospital, located on #1 Florina Avenue in Belmopan, Belize.

The Western Regional Hospital is one of the three hospitals in Belize that has an operating theater, the other two being those in Orange Walk, and Belize City. (An operating theater in Corozal is under construction). The Western Regional Hospital has two surgeons (Dr. Ken and Dr. Godoy) and two gynecologists (Dr. Howe and Dr. Ayala) who carry out caesarean sections at the hospital. Every time there is a complication with a delivery at the Cayo Community Hospital (San Ignacio Town) or Southern Regional Hospital (Dangriga) these cases are immediately sent to Belmopan Hospital.
History
The hospital treated many persons affected by Hurricane Dean because they were sent from the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in Belize City to Belmopan. This was done because Belmopan is further inland while KHMH is located by the sea, and authorities aimed to send those patients to safety, increasing the number of patients to be treated.
