Bazinama is the first video game magazine in Iran which has been published since 2002 with the efforts of a group of young people who were interested in this new industry. At that time the brand of Bazinama just represented itself as a video game magazine, but today Bazinama works on other aspects of gaming industry such as its popular video game portal and development of some casual games.

History

The first issue of Bazinama launched with donyaye narmafzar title by Nariman Faramarzi in 2002. After the 4th issue and with the magazine publishing every two months, Omid Mehdipour and Farhad Karimi joined the editorial team. After 12th issue, Omid Mehdipour left the team and Mahmoud Beladi, who had some previous experience on video game magazines was appointed as deputy editor. But after the 18th issue he left the group and Bazinama encountered some changes again. Farjam Koliyayi who was known to the readers as "Babaye Barbod" or "Barbod’s dad" worked for about 10 issues in Bazinama (from issue 24 to 34) and after that "Vahid Yousefi" who was in charge of the art direction of Bazinama since its very first issues, continued his career as senior editor. Meanwhile "Mohammad Mirzaei" started his career in the magazine as Deputy editor. During these years Bazinama has been publishing under the presidency of an editorial council, which has Mohammad Mirzaei and Vahid Youssefi on board.
