Battlerite is a team-based multiplayer online battle arena, also known as team arena brawler action video game. The game is considered a spiritual successor to Bloodline Champions and is created by the same developers, Stunlock Studios. An early access version of the game was released on September 20, 2016, and within a few weeks had already sold over 200,000 copies. As of December 2016, it has sold over 440,000 copies. It is planned that the game will transition to a free-to-play model on its full release.
