Filipino Victory, Filipino forces retaking Jaro from the Americans.

The "Battle of Balantang" also known as the "Second Battle of Jaro" was organize counterattack by the Filipino forces that was executed on March 10, 1899 retaking Jaro from the Americans during the early battles on February, 1899. Philippine revolutionaries led by General Pascual Magbanua together with his sister Teresa Magbanua on an attack despite the weapon disadvantage this battle resulted in Philippine forces retaking Jaro from the American it was accounted for about nearly 400 Americans were killed in the battle while Filipino casualties was not defined. Because of her valor despite being a woman Teresa Magbanua was given a prominent place in the celebration, and lead her troops into the city while riding a white horse.
