Barbara herman the moral side of non negligence
Barbara Herman is an American philosopher, and Griffin Professor of Philosophy and Professor of Law, at University of California Los Angeles. She was a 1985 Guggenheim Fellow.

Life
Herman earned her Ph.D. in philosophy from Harvard University, where she wrote a dissertation supervised by John Rawls.

Before moving to the philosophy department at U.C.L.A., Herman taught for several years in the philosophy department and law school at the University of Southern California.
