Barbara Ellen Waxman (February 23, 1932 – November 9, 2008 ) was an American architect and lawyer.

Life

Waxman graduated in 1953 from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, with a bachelor's degree in architecture. She worked for 26 years as an architect in New Jersey. Waxman graduated with a law degree from Rutgers University, in 1988. She was able to practice law in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She worked with her husband, Marvin Waxman, practicing law in his Flemington office from 1988 until her death.

Waxman was a member of the American Bar Association, and a member emeritus of the American Institute of Architecture (1957–1987).
