The bar-tailed cuckoo-dove (Macropygia nigrirostris) is a species of bird in the family Columbidae. It is found in New Guinea and the Bismarck Archipelago. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
