Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU)(Bengali: বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়) is a public university located in Ghobra, Ghonapara, Gopalganj, Bangladesh. It was established in 2001 and named for Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Admission
For undergraduate admission a student should must face admission test.The admission test is held every academic session that arrange by university authority.Every faculty arrange individual admission test,which is generally up to 100 marks. The university also offers postgraduate program.
Teaching and learning
This is a public Research University of Bangladesh.This university offers 23 graduate degree,about 10 master's degree,one PhD degree. The four year of undergraduate program the student learn new thing from renowned teacher.Engineering and science faculty have their own good lab facilities,so they able to thesis different thing and discovering newer thing.

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University is located on Tungipara-Gopalgang highway. The campus consists of three hall for students, individual residences for the VC, a mosque, two teachers residences, central library cafeteria, a academic building, an admisistrative building. The academic parts of these buildings consist of class rooms, laboratories for ACCE, CSE, EEE, APECE,Pharmacy. The administration part consist of VC office, offices for other administrative work.
Library & centers
The institution has a central library name Ekushee February Library Center with large volumes. The library has a rich collection of Text Book ,other Books and great number of Journals and Newspapers. The library is open during academic hours. Many departments also have individual libraries.
Medical center, bank and post office
The medical center is temporarily placed at the ground floor of the administrative building. A branch of the official bank of “Agrani Bank Limited” is located at the ground floor of the Administrative building.A post office is also in here.
VC's bungalow
This building is located at the corner of the campus. This building is for accommodation of the Vice-Chancellor of the BSMRSTU.
Transport
Transport facilities for the teachers and students is very good.Seven buses in here(six for student and one for teacher).Besides there are four micro bus for teacher,one ambulance for medical emergency in the campus.
Residential student halls
This are Three residential halls in the campus and every of this five stored building with 250 students capacity. There are many facilities available for the residential students including TV room, Reading room etc. The hall has the facilities of photocopy, Print and shop for students. The name of the hall are:

Central Mosque
Central Mosque of BSMRSTU built in 2015 and opened also 2015. It is one of the most Spectacular buildings in the campus.
