As of 2011 census of India, Bandarulanka had a population of 11,470 with 3,256 households. The total population constitute, 5,740 males and 5,730 females —a sex ratio of 998 females per 1000 males. 988 children are in the age group of 0–6 years, of which 523 are boys and 465 are girls, —a ratio of 889 per 1000.
