Baldwin Middle-Senior High School is a public secondary school in Baldwin, Florida, part of the Duval County School District. Located within the Baldwin city limits, the school has a middle school and a high school and enrolls about 1,150 students. Located in the more rural far western part of Duval County, the student population is smaller than any other secondary school in Duval County.

The school currently has a "C" as of 2010 on the Florida School Accountability Grading Scale.

Improvement

Baldwin implemented a School Improvement Plan for the 2007-2008 school year that utilizes many of the same programs specified in the College Board EXCELerator pilot project. This program is also in place at eight other Duval County Schools.

Academic Programs

Baldwin offers special degree programs to its students including the AP Capstone program, a digital communications magnet beginning in 6th grade, a dual enrollment diploma program though Florida State College at Jacksonville and Edward Waters College, and an aeronautical robotics academy with classes through Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Swimming Pool

The school has an outdoor pool which is used by the athletic teams and physical education classes during the academic year; then it becomes a free public pool operated by the City of Jacksonville Parks & Recreation Department during the summer months.
