The Balcones Cup is an annual competitive, team-style, match play golf tournament contested between two teams from all across the great state of Texas. Players from teams Brazos and Trinity play three separate matches, each in different formats (Four Ball, Scramble, Singles), to earn points and ultimately win the esteemed Balcones Cup.

Contents

The event is named after the Balcones Fault which separates the state of Texas and the team names are adopted from the Brazos and Trinity rivers. Team Brazos is represented by a green and yellow color scheme based on the colors of the Masters Tournament. Team Trinity is represented by a red and blue color scheme based on the colors of the Texas Flag.
