Bailando 2016 is the eleventh season of Bailando por un Sueño. The season premiere was aired on 30 May 2016 and was hosted by Marcelo Tinelli.
In this season the jury consists of five; returning judges Moria Casán, Soledad Silveyra, Marcelo Polino, and Ángel de Brito, and newcomer Pampita Ardohaín.
On 29 June in "Este Es El Show" was announced the participation of Fernanda Herrera, better known as "The hot lawyer." Their participation began the third week. Before the massive resignations, being thus less pairs, the production decided to incorporate new pairs to the contest after the 8th week. The production chose to reincorporate the contest to Bárbara Vélez, after its scandalous exit of the contest before its debut, and to incorporate to Nicole Neumann; Lizy Tagliani; The winners of Bailando 2014, Anita Martínez and Bicho Gómez and Carla Conte, winner of Bailando por un Sueño 3
In this "Bailando" there was something historic in the program, also for the first time, a participant leaves the contest twice in the same year, in this case we are talking about the actress and model Bárbara Vélez.
It is also the season with more dropouts (7 in total). It is also the first time in the contest, which disqualifies a participant, we are talking about the singer Marta Sánchez.
