Backburner is a Canadian underground hip hop group and musical collective. The group consists of nineteen members, among the more independently established of whom are Fresh Kils, Ghettosocks, Jesse Dangerously, More or Les, Timbuktu and Wordburglar. The crew has released two albums, Heatwave, in 2011. and Eclipse, in 2015. A music video was produced for the eponymous lead single from Heatwave.
