Babina is a genus of frogs in the Ranidae family from southeastern and eastern Asia. Most of the species were originally placed in genus Rana, and Babina has been considered as a subgenus of Rana.

Species

The genus contains the following ten species:

  • Babina adenopleura (Boulenger, 1909)
  • Babina caldwelli (Schmidt, 1925) (possibly synonym of B. adenopleura)
  • Babina chapaensis (Bourret, 1937) – Chapa frog or glandular-sided frog
  • Babina daunchina (Chang, 1933) – Emei music frog
  • Babina hainanensis (Fei, Ye, and Jiang, 2007)
  • Babina holsti (Boulenger, 1892) – Holst's frog
  • Babina lini (Chou, 1999)
  • Babina okinavana (Boettger, 1895) – Kampira Falls frog or Ryukyu Brown Frog
  • Babina pleuraden (Boulenger, 1904) – Yunnan Pond Frog
  • Babina subaspera (Barbour, 1908) – Otton frog
