Babie Doły [ˈbabjɛ ˈdɔwɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Zblewo, within Starogard County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north of Zblewo, 13 km (8 mi) west of Starogard Gdański, and 48 km (30 mi) south-west of the regional capital Gdańsk.

Trapped Man
In 1951, a story about a German soldier was found alive after being trapped with several comrades following the dynamiting of their bunker on 1945. The soldiers died (Two suicides, two unknown causes) leaving only one survivor who was said to have made a full recover, but his identity was never revealed.
The story inspired a novel called Le Blockhouse by French author Jean-Paul Clébert which was made into a film of the same name in 1973.
