History
The Ba FC came into existence with the formation of the Ba Indian Football Association in 1935. This was due to the efforts of educationist, Ami Chandra and support from the Colonial Sugar Refining Company, which owned a large Sugar Mill in Ba. By 1940 there were four teams playing in a local league, with more clubs joining in the 1950s. The football team took part in a league organised by the Northern District Association in which teams from the north west districts of Viti Levu. When the Fiji Indian Football Association was formed in 1938, Ba was one of its initial members. In 1962 the Fiji Indian Football Association changed its name to the Fiji Football Association and the Ba Indian Football Association changed its name to the Ba Football Association so players of all races could play with the Ba FC. The team is currently sponsored by 4R Electric.
