Sphero
Sphero is a spherical robot toy that can be controlled with a smartphone or tablet. The electronics inside Sphero are created by the same technology found inside a smartphone, and the outer shell is 3D-printed plastic.
BB-8
BB-8 is a new character in the seventh installment of the Star Wars franchise, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, released on December 18, 2015. Like most of Sphero’s products, it is mostly a white sphere, but it has the marking of the BB-8 droid from the film, with a head attached by magnet on the top. The inner workings are gyroscopic system that enables the sphere to roll while the head remains on the top, just as it operates in the movie.
