Early life and education
Madoff was born in Akron, Ohio. He attended Firestone High School. He graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin with degrees in philosophy and psychology. In 1971, he started and ran a men's and women's fashion company, Billy Whiskers. In 1972, Madoff was chosen as one of the top 10 designers in the United States. He then moved to New York and started another fashion company, Benje. He sold the company in 1977.
Madoff Productions
Madoff founded Madoff Productions in 1983. The company offers a one stop shop for creative services, production and post production. They collaborate with their clients through concept development, production, editing and distribution. They work with advertising agencies, public relations firms and client direct. They produce powerful and entertaining work with a unique, brand right point of view. Their projects range from television commercials, web content, program production, brand imaging and product launches to documentaries.
