Azra Fazal Pechuho (Urdu: عذرا فضل پیچوہو; born 21 February 1953) is a politician and physician who is currently a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, belonging to the Pakistan Peoples Party.
Pechuho was elected as a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan for the first time on Pakistan Peoples Party ticket in Pakistani general election, 2002.
She was not a popular politician until the assassination of Benazir Bhutto in 2007. After the assassination, she became the chancellor of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology.
In 2006, her car was attacked in Nawabshah during a by-election by Altaf Hussain Unar who was arrested later.
Pechuho was re-elected as a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan for the second time in Pakistani general election, 2008 from NA-213 (Nawabshah).
Pechuho was re-elected as a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan for the third time in Pakistani general election, 2013 from NA-213 (Nawabshah).
Personal life
Pechuho is a physician by profession. She is a younger sister of former President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari. She is married to Fazalullah Pechacho.
