Ayomide "Ayo" Akinola (born January 20, 2000) is an American professional soccer player who currently plays for Toronto FC II.

Club
After a spell with the TFC Academy, Akinola was called up to the Toronto FC II set-up during the 2016 USL season. He made his professional on June 15, 2016, replacing Shaan Hundal in the 80th minute during a 1–1 draw with FC Montreal. His first start came a week later, suffering a 4–1 defeat to Louisville City FC on June 22, 2016.
International
Born in Detroit, Michigan before moving to Brampton, Ontario, Akinola is eligible to play internationally for either the United States or Canada. He made his debut for the United States Under-15 side on April 25, 2015, in a 4–1 victory over Costa Rica. The following day he scored his first international goal, netting four goals and an assist in a 6–2 win against Croatia. He also scored in his final appearance for the Under-15s, in a 3–3 draw in England.
On December 2, 2015, he made his debut for the Under-17 national team, playing 40 minutes in a 3–2 defeat to England Under-16s. He first goal came against Brazil on March 22, 2016, before netting a brace against Russia on March 26, 2016.
