Ayad Hamid Khalaf Al-Jumaili is an Iraqi man and a senior leader in the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). He is the head of the overall "amniyat" (the Arabic word for 'security') in Iraq and Syria, the Islamic State's intelligence and public security department.

History

Jumaili is a former Saddam-era intelligence officer from Fallujah, who joined the Sunni insurgency after the U.S.-led invasion and now answers directly to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
